About Me

My name is Sally Soutar and I am an artist from Dundee, Scotland. I specialise in pet portraits working with acrylic paint on rustic products.

It all started back in 2019 when I painted a portrait of my best friends beautiful German Shepherd, Merlin. I officially created my small business in 2020 just before lockdown. My first commissions mainly came from family, friends and classmates.

What began as a hobby gradually gained momentum. After a lot of hard work and an increase in commissions I have been able to fulfil my dream of painting full time and creating my own website!

The connection between us and our pets is the reason I love painting them. It shines through in every commission I get. Their personalities and character is so wonderful to capture. A pet portrait is such a lovely way to celebrate and remember our pets. I want to thank all of my customers and everyone who has supported me. I couldn’t do what I love without you all.
